THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LEATHERS
We only use the finest from Leather Working Group-accredited tanneries. Over to our Design Team to tell you how they choose the perfect leather for each handbag, including extra-huggable Sloane Street.
“We always think about how the handbag will be used. For us, leather that only gets more beautiful over time is a must-have. We also think about the hardware we want to use on a design and how that will sit. We knew we wanted Sloane Street to be structured but soft so this thick grain leather was perfect.”
Linden Gardens is made to love for a lifetime, and a shape our Design Team knows is big news for the coming season.
“Sometimes you just can’t beat a compact sized handbag. Our Linden Gardens ‘90s baguette shape is so popular right now. As we move into autumn we predict that equestrian style detailing - like we’ve added on the buckle - is going to be even more popular.”
COLOURS WORTH SMILING ABOUT
Bright on. Say hello to new designs and irresistible colours with Ansell Grove and Heirloom Street (both coming soon to the US). Here’s why Lucy, our Designer Manager, thinks pink and green should always be seen.
“The combination of pink and green is very Art Deco-inspired. When researching our colour palette for this season we were looking at a lot of beautiful interior design, and we loved how these two brights work together. Summer can last forever when you’re carrying one of these bags.”
It’s not just about the statement colours of course. You’ll find plenty of timeless neutrals in the collection.
PILLOWY-SOFT TEXTURES
Something cosy for the season to come. This is Duke’s Place (coming soon) like you’ve never seen it before. How do our craftspeople achieve this intricate quilting?
"It all starts with super soft nappa leather. This chevron pattern is becoming part of our design signature, and for this style we wanted to make it extra puffy. We love that pillowy, marshmallow feeling you’ll get every time you use this bag. It’s a tactile reminder of the love that’s gone into making it.”
