Spring ‘24. A New Season of Luxe Leather Handbags

February doesn’t quite feel like spring yet, no arguments here. That’s why our Design Team have taken our colour palette above the (rain) clouds and beyond this month. And they’re here to tell you all about that and more. Come along for the trip with expertly made bags for Spring ‘24.
Lucy, Design Manager, sums up the season.
“Whoever said having your head in the clouds was a bad thing anyway? We want everyone to revel in the feeling of having a fresh year ahead of them with this collection. Our colour palette shows off the incredible leathers we’ve chosen, from soft and cuddly to glossy croc-effect.”
Seafoam blue has us daydreaming of sunnier days. A pastel update for Liverpool Street 2.0 Faux Croc and Dukes Place.
The bag you can’t help but strike a pose with. That’s what happens when we combine Dukes Place with new Aurora purple. Zizi, Creative Director told us more about it.
“Did you know that the Northern Lights are occasionally visible in certain parts of the UK? Not where any of us live in London sadly. But we’re bringing an aspect of the phenomenon to you with this shade.”
Deepsea blue transports us to the beach. Less basking in the sun, more bundled up against the breeze for an afternoon of strolling with Westwell Lane. Don’t forget the takeaway coffee to warm your hands.
This new design is made for strolling anywhere from the beach to the high street, a classic everyday style made in grained leather. Dani, Designer, is big on the details.
“We’ve thought of the little details that make a big difference, like the leather-covered magnetic fastening and the handy slip pocket.”
An icon. And just like Cher, Madonna, and all the greats, Pockets Icon deserves a new look every now and then. Now in its Cloudburst and classic Black era.
We had two questions for Sally, Senior Designer, about Sloane Street.
Why is it so irresistible and how is that croc-effect leather created?
“I think it's all down to the luxe look of the leather. Of course, we don’t use any exotic skins. We start with our usual best quality bovine leathers and use embossing to create the texture. This is then defined further by hand if needed, to create the depth of field you see on the finished design.”
