What makes an iconic handbag? At Radley London, it comes from our commitment to heritage and craft. This is how we develop a style like Dukes Place, with a design signature so versatile we can bring it you in multiple silhouettes. More on that from our Design Team later, so keep reading.
Dukes Place is too good to save for just one shape (or one colour, as you can see).
This is what makes an iconic design. Each silhouette with the same clean lines, softly curved corners and attention to detail that mark it as Dukes Place. That’s not the only thing all of these shapes have in common, take it from the experts in our Design Team. Liz is a big fan of Dukes Place and here’s why.
“Dukes Place is always a popular style, and there’s a few reasons for that. First, the functionality. No matter which silhouette you choose you’ll find zip fastenings to keep everything secure, as well as separate compartments in every style (bar the sleek shoulder bag).”
Sally, Senior Designer, mentions the leather is (of course) key. “We’re known for our beautiful, luxe leathers, and we use two different types for Dukes Place, to suit the various shapes. A soft vintage-look and also a grained leather. So, our customers can choose the right one for them.”

Or how about this leather quilt effect, it's irresistible to the touch and created using intricate stitching techniques for that chevron pattern.
