Empowering Women to Succeed this International Women’s Day

Happy International Women’s Day to all of our readers, customers, and team members. Our aim with everything we do at Radley London year-round is to lift women up. We design for women and because of them. So to mark the day, we’re supporting a charity close to our hearts. Smart Works. We’re donating £5 from every sale - online and in our full price stores - on 8th March.  And this is just the beginning.



The organisation exists to give unemployed women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and change the trajectory of their lives.

Unemployed women are referred to Smart Works from job centres, mental health charities, women’s refuges, homeless shelters, the prison service, care service and youth organisations. They receive  a bespoke dressing consultation with two trained volunteers, to find a beautiful and high-quality interview outfit that will fill her with confidence. This is followed by a one-to-one coaching session with an expert interview coach, where each client receives valuable interview preparation. Unlocking her potential and enabling her to succeed at interview.

Following this, 69% of clients secure a job within a month. And the support doesn’t end there. Once they get the job they receive a capsule wardrobe to last until their first pay cheque and can arrange monthly coaching sessions to set them up for professional success.



Our donation for International Women’s Day is just the start. Our Head of Marketing, Louise Taylor, explains how the partnership came about

We’re excited to build our partnership after what we know will be an incredible International Women’s Day. And we have team members already eager to volunteer at centres.”

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is especially close to our hearts here at Radley London.
