The Five On-trend Winter Textures you Need to Know

It’s the season for your thickest jumpers, knitted everything, and coats that feel like duvets. But how do you translate that cosy winter feeling into your accessories?
We start with the most tactile leathers. Our London Design Studio have tapped into some of the biggest texture trends this winter.
1) Cuddly quilting
Meet our oversized, oh-so-huggable tote. Hyde Road is our take on a trend British Vogue described as ‘cuddle club’, a bag that you’ll always want under your arm. It’s inspired by the sink-into comfort of thick pillows and Chesterfield-quilted sofas. Even its straps are filled for absolute comfort when resting on your shoulder.
2) Softly does it
Just as cuddly but on the smaller side. We love Sunny Rise. If Hyde Road is the bag you’ll be packing up for a weekend away, Sunny Rise is the design you’ll want as your party plus one.
The drawstring top gathers together that beautifully smooth lamb nappa leather that you won’t be able to stop admiring. Carry it via the top handle (for showing off) or cross body strap (on the dancefloor). Because we know this is a straight-from-the-catwalk trend, we also made it in a backpack version.
3) Contrast textures
A little bit slouchy and a little bit structured. Lewis Lane is crafted in soft grained leather that creates the perfect softly folding shape, contrasted by that sleek smooth leather top handle. This combination of textures creates the perfect mid-size all-day bag - when you’ll be out from morning flat white to after dinner drinks.
4) Inspired by nature
You haven’t seen textured leather quite like this before. Inspired by tree bark, the ridged leather is contrasted by smooth leather inserts and sleek gold hardware. Our London Design Studio have outdone themselves with Watermoor Road.
5) (Mock) reptilian revamp
It wouldn’t be winter without a little mock croc. This texture is our favourite for turning an outfit into something special in an instant. You’ll love this embossed look on our classic Liverpool Street 2.0. We craft bags to be loved for years to come, and mock croc is a trend that never goes out of style.
